Keena Peek Office Manager
When you walk through our doors, you will be warmly greeted with a friendly smile from Keena, our awesome, multi-talented boss babe. Keena joined our practice in 2014 and brings with her 27 years of experience in the dental field. With her attention to detail and knack for accounting and bookkeeping, you can be confident that Keena will be your best champion in making sure your dental insurance works for you. Her kind personality and sharp set of skills create seamless experiences for our patients and our team everyday.
When she’s not running a tight ship here in the office, Keena is spending time with her husband, Dennis, and their Maine Coon kitty. They enjoy the local music scene and outdoor offerings here in New Braunfels.
Sandra Neubert Front Desk Coordinator
The last (but certainly not least) friendly face you’ll see before you leave our practice is Sandra, aka the perfect closer to an excellent dental experience. Sandra came on board in 2019 with over 25 years in the dental field in various positions from dental assistant to front desk. A Canyon Lake native and proud river rat, Sandra seems to know everyone and will quickly make you feel like a longtime friend. She has you covered for all your treatment and scheduling needs.
Outside the practice, she loves spending time with her husband, Richard, and two grown boys, Hunter and Hayden. Fun fact – they have a rescue turtle named Hazel who climbs their fence and hisses at everyone else but Sandra.
Leah Van Haren
Dental Hygienist
Our wonderful Dental Hygienist, Leah, joined the practice in 2020. Originally from Wisconsin, she’s been in Texas since 2012. She has over 18 years of experience as a dental hygienist.
Leah loves taking care of our patients, and they love her friendly, kind, and outgoing personality.
When she's not at Smile New Braunfels, she loves spending time with her family, especially swimming, fishing, and boating on Canyon Lake.
Meredith Peck
Dental Assistant
Meredith enjoys making our patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and helping us make beautiful smiles. She joined our team a few months ago after earning her dental assisting degree from Concorde Career College. While there, she was granted the prestigious title of Lamplighter for outstanding leadership and academics.
Born in Dallas, she moved to New Braunfels 14 years ago, and graduated from New Braunfels High School. Go Unicorns!! Meredith enjoys her cats, horseback riding, singing at the top of her lungs, and spending time with boyfriend Ryan -- not necessarily in that order.
Raquel Garcia
Dental Assistant
You will meet Raquel as she warmly welcomes you back to our treatment rooms. A New Braunfels native, Raquel has 13 years of dental assistant experience and joined the Smile New Braunfels team in fall 2022. She is a dedicated dental assistant as well as a wife and mother of 6, including a set of 4-year old triplets! When she’s not playing with the kids, Raquel loves to relax with her long-time friends. Her goal is to make you as comfortable as possible as she works alongside Dr. Peck during your visit.
